So, what are 3 simple ways we can begin to “reshape” our environment:

  1. Pair a pleasurable activity with the new habit you want to create. I want to exercise. I like playing golf. I will walk instead of riding a cart once a week.
  2. To be terrific, be specific. Plan specific times/activities that support your new habit goal. I will walk 9 holes of golf every Tuesday after work.
  3. Remind yourself of the benefits. I am getting exercise while improving my golf game, AND walking 9 holes is only $12 and riding is $32. I’m saving $$.
