Telling Your Story

Are you a DREAM4 dreamer? Only you know for sure. We have kept our promise not to ever share your story. But here’s the question: is it time for YOU to consider doing so?

Over the past couple of years we have had participants who have experienced more financial freedom, others who have developed better health habits and restored lost energy and still more who have committed to educational choices and created a renewed passion for learning. There have been spiritual decisions; resulting in eternal confidence, relational conversations that have led to completely fresh starts and many who have pushed the professional “restart” button, choosing to be accountable for becoming a difference-maker.

Most participating team-members have learned that creating momentum in life is simply a four-step process:

  1. Understanding truly what you want – Level 1 Dreamer
  2. Connecting that desire with the right resources – Level 2 Dreamer
  3. Working hard on the next step of the plan – Level 3 Dreamer
  4. Flipping the switch on your attitude when needed – Level 4 Dreamer

A DREAM4 dreamer has learned to repeat these steps and starts getting ready to tell their story. You see, each one of us is a constantly unfolding narrative, a unique story that no one else can write. Unfortunately, for some reason, so many of us leave our stories untold and our songs unsung. One unintended consequence of this hesitance is that we lose touch with what is certainly one of our key life purposes.

You see, we were created, in part, to touch and inspire others. We are to do this – not by trying to be someone else – but by being our own unique selves and being willing to share our stories. We must never get in the way of this calling by thinking we have to be perfect before we can have a transformational influence.

We all have a "past" and have all spent time failing to create momentum and progress in life. But every bit of our “previous experience” has already been written. We cannot rewrite the past but we can use it to craft an awesome adventure that has a great next chapter and starts moving toward an incredible new narrative.

By taking off our "mask" and learning to be “comfortable in our own skin,” we gain confidence in our own story. As Brené Brown teaches in her TEDx talk The Power Of Vulnerability, the gateway to intimacy is via being vulnerable about our imperfections. If we try to sugar coat our story, we miss out on the sense of connection with other human beings that we can only attain when we’re letting someone else genuinely see us – “warts and all.”

Is it time for you to tell your DREAM4 story? Start your journey as a Dreamer today! We’re waiting….
